Iconic Aussie rocker Jimmy Barnes will take to the stage in Canberra when he headlines next year’s Summernats Street Machine festival.

Barnsey will be joined by Shannon Noll, Bliss N Eso, the Stafford Brothers and Brooke Evers across two nights at EPIC as part of the festival’s biggest ever music lineup.

Barnes said he can’t wait to make his Summernats debut.

“It’s been a long time coming, but I’m finally playing Summernats! I’m looking forward to belting out some rock and roll for everyone at Australia’s home of horsepower.”

“I can’t wait to see you all there.”

Barnsey and Nollsie will rock the crowd at EPIC on the Friday night of the festival before handing things over to Bliss N Eso, the Stafford Brothers and Brooke Evers to take the stage on the Saturday.

Next year’s event marks the 35th anniverasry of Summernats and co-owner Andy Lopez said he’s looking forward to a massive celebration.

“Barnesy has to be one of, if not the most, requested artists by our Summernats fans.”

“So, we got him, and then went really big with Nollsie, Bliss N Eso, Brooke Evers and the Stafford Brothers – Summernats 35 is going to be huge.”
