A man from Queanbeyan West has clocked off work early after becoming $100,000 richer thanks to a win in the latest Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
However, the lucky local was completely oblivious to the win until receiving a call from a Lott Official….for a second time.
“You’re sh****** me! Oh, that’s unreal!” he cheered.
“Initially, I hung up on you because I thought you were a telemarketer. I won’t hang up on you next time you call to deliver winning news.”
As for his plans for the money, he said he’ll need a bit of time to think it over.
“I honestly don’t have a clue on what I’ll spend the prize on.”
“With retirement around the corner, I’ll have to think about the future.” he said.
