After a number of false starts in the second half on 2021, due to COVID, the Handmade Markets is holding its first in-person event in more than two years this weekend.

From handmade arts and crafts to home décor, fashion and food, more than 250 individual stalls will pack into EPIC marking the return of one of Canberra’s biggest and much-loved market events.

CEO Julie Nichols said she’s excited to see the event return after a switch to online during the pandemic.

“Getting back to a real-life, in-person markets is a huge step towards some normality and is so very exciting for us all.”

“We are so happy to support these makers and promote handmade Australian goods in any way we can”

The markets return to to EPIC’s Coorong pavilion, Conference Centre & Budawang pavilion this Saturday 30 April and Sunday 1 May between 10am and 4pm.

“Entry to the market is free however we are encouraging visitors to provide a gold coin donation to local charity Givit.”
