With the new Big Bash season just around the corner, Rod has taken the opportunity to pitch his ideas for new wacky and exciting rules to Sydney Thunder captain Chris Green.

And to Mick’s surprise, Chris is all for them!

Growing up playing tennis, and coming from a very sporty family, Chris said the individualism of the racquet sport has really pushed him further in his cricketing career. “[Tennis] helped me in my day-today life as a cricketer… There is still individual aspects of cricket and my role in the team that I need to ensure are in the right spot,” he told Rod and Mick.

After spending some time playing cricket in the Caribbean, the T20 all-rounder is back in Australia and is ready to rip in to the BBL season opener at Manuka Oval.

Who knows what could happen over the summer of cricket with Rod suggesting a DOG runs on the field to collect the balls.
