ACT Police have recently launched a renewed focus on road and rail safety in the Nation’s Capital.

It comes as drivers of the city’s light rail carriages have been forced have been forced to apply emergency brakes at least 21 times since the start of the year – that’s once every three days.

Truck driver Logan called into the Kristen & Nige show to give his frank assessment of the situation on the roads.

“I’ve driven in major cities all over the world from Los Angeles, New York, London, the whole lot.”

“Believe me, if you want to stay in bad cities to drive, Canberra is right up there.”
