We’re still a few weeks out from Spring but swooping season is already underway in the Nation’s Capital.

So far this year, there have been 14 swooping incidents reported in the ACT to the Magpie Alert website.

The confirmation comes after a 6-year-old in Queensland made headlines last week after he was swooped three time in four days by the same bird on his way to school.

While it may seem early, Magpies are known to swoop anytime from July right through to December.
