Ahh, French pastries. Aren’t they the best? Croissants. Bretzels. Baguettes. I could keep going!
But hopping on a plane from Canberra to Paris is a bit too expensive to enjoy those delicacies.
Luckily there is a place, tucked away in a little Canberran neighbourhood that is bringing a little bit of France down under!

Ignace Diompy travelled to Australia from France a few years ago, in the hopes of brushing up on his English before moving to Dubai to open up a bakery.
Little did he realise he’d come to love Australia so much, that he’d forget about Dubai, and set up shop here in the ACT with his wife Giada.
Now they’re the proud owners of L’epi Artisan Bakery in Chisolm, along with Crust bakery in Fyshwick and the Bakehouse in Kambah!
Ignace spoke to Mick about his time in France and the difference between a bretzel and a pretzel.
He also gave a sneak peak into what new products we can see at L’epi in the near future!
