One of Canberra’s favourite food events will make its return later this month as part of the Enlighten festival.

The Night Noodle Markets open on Friday 25 February, serving sizzling, sweet and spicy meals over ten days.

The foodie affair is set to feature local establishments Korean BBQ King, Korbq, and Donburi Station, along with crowd- favourites, Gelato Messina, Wonderbao, Hoy Pinoy, Teppanyaki Noodles, Flying Noodles, Twistto and May’s Malaysian Hawker with more expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

The Night Noodle Markets were absent last year but are back in 2022 and in a brand new location.

Moving from their traditional at Reconciliation Place, this year sees the market set up at the Parkes Place West Lawns.

In a bid to reduce queueing and to keep the event COVID Safe, The Noodle Markets have also teamed up with online food ordering system ‘Mr Yum’.

Diners will now have the option to simply scan a QR code to view, order and pay for items on their phone through Mr Yum, with an SMS sent when orders are ready for pick up.
