Overseas, country’s are renaming the streets that their Russian Embassies are located on, in support of Ukraine.
In Lithuania, the street of the Russian Embassy has now been renamed “Ukrainian Heroes Street”.
While the street that’s home to the Russian Embassy in Latvia has now been renamed “Independent Ukraine Street”.
Here in Canberra, the Russian Embassy is located along Canberra Avenue in Griffith.
However, with Canberra Avenue extending all the way into neighboring New South Wales, the logistics of renaming the road come into question then there’s also the decision to find the right name.
