A 25-year-old man has been charged over a burglary spree in the Woden area earlier this month.
Police said three men broke into a Weston home around 3:30am on June 10, stealing personal belongings including credit cards and car keys.
About an hour later, a Mercedes Benz E250 was stolen from a Duffy home, while the homeowners were sleeping!
While a third house, also in Duffy, was targeted around 5am the same morning.
A Volkswagon Golf and other items were stolen, with the residents waking to the sound of the culprits breaking in.
Police reviewed CCTV footage from homeowners, which showed the trio were armed with what appeared to be a handgun during each burglary.
Luckily, no one was threatened or hurt during the incidents.
A 25-year-old man was arrested for a range of crimes, including three counts of aggravated burglary, multiple theft offences, and driving a stolen car without consent.
Police are still trying to track down the handgun and the two other men involved.
