Recreational users and workers within the Parliamentary triangle are being urged to reassess their need to be in the Parliamentary Triangle amid ongoing protest activity.

The warning comes from ACT Police, which expects demonstrations to continue into next week.

Large groups have been gathering at various points throughout the triangle, protesting against vaccine mandates among other issues.

Police are warning visitors to expect disruptions to roads, paths, open spaces and offices.

Workers who have the ability to do so, and in consultation with their employer, are being urged to explore alternate work locations.

Police expect disruptions in the area to continue into next week and police activity or protest activity may occur with little or no notice.
