Get ready for Buffalo wings, Budweiser, a killer half-time show (featuring Rihanna) and of course LOTS of Football!.. It’s Super Bowl time!

The annual American ‘big dance’, this year between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs, gets underway from 10:30am Canberra Time on Monday morning.

To help the day run smoothly for you, we’ve narrowed down some of the top places across the Nation’s Capital to take in the game.

Bleachers, Civic.

Bleachers is already known for showing all the big games, but their Superbowl event is set to be a show-stopper!

They’ve partnered up with Four Pines this year serving the beer alongside their famous burgers.

For $45 per person, you get allocated seating, an exclusive 4 Pines/Bleachers shirt, and a schooner of 4 Pines upon arrival

The event kicks off at 9 am, but you’ll have to book in beforehand.

Young and Frisky, Gungahlin.

It wouldn’t be the Superbowl without 60c wings and $5 Budweiser, and that’s exactly what Young and Frisky are bringing to the table. It all starts at 9:30 am.

The Gungahlin pub specializes in whiskey and South American food, so whether you’re settling in for the game, or just stopping by for a meal,  they’ve got you covered!

 


Assembly Pub, Braddon

Assembly is also shaking it up for the Superbowl, introducing a special menu that features all the Americana the event deserves!

There will be wings, hot dogs, and of course buckets of Bud to wash it all down, but if you’re after a local twist, Capital’s Coast Ale is on the menu.

The Alby, Woden. 

This new pub in Woden is sleek, with gorgeous interiors and games like pinball and pool, but for the Superbowl that’s all been turned on its head. Chicken lollipops, hot dogs, nachos and fries, with two pints of Hawkes Paddio Pale for $60. They’ll have their 85 inch tvs playing the game.

The Hellenic Club. 

Already an iconic Canberra meeting spot, the Hellenic’ sports bars will be taking part in the action on Monday.

You’ll be able to get all the traditional pub feeds, while enjoying the game from 10:30.
