ACT SES crews were kept busy on Sunday night with wet and windy weather around the Nation’s Capital.

Crews received 11 calls for help, mainly for trees down.

A tree in Gowrie took out powerlines as it came down on Sunday night, it’s expected some customers will be without power until Monday afternoon as repair work is carried out.

It comes as gusts of up to 65km/h were recorded.

A sever weather warning for Damaging Winds remains current for parts of the ACT and surrounding regions in New South Wales on Monday morning.
