It seems PCR and Rapid Antigen Test shortages are still having an impact here in the ACT.

Acting Health Minister, Chris Steel has confirmed the Territory has only received a small amount of the RATs it’s order to date.

Just 62,000 of the roughly 1.6 million tests have arrived so far.

It comes after ACT Health on Tuesday announced it would only be handing out one rapid antigen test kit per person at the Kambah testing site, due to supply issues.

Roughly 12,000 rapid antigen tests have been given out each day since they started being distributed at testing clinics last week.

However, the Government is hopeful more supplies are on their way to the Capital.

Around 80,000 RAT kits from the Federal Government are expected to arrive later this week.
