There were major delays along Northbourne Avenue on Friday morning following a collision between a person and a light rail vehicle.
The pedestrian suffered serious injuries to their head and has now been taken to hospital.
The collision causing a large crack to the front windscreen of the light rail vehicle involved.
A police investigation into the incident, which took place at Ipima Street, Braddon just before 8am, is now being undertaken.
