A hot air balloon has been forced to make an impromptu landing in Canberra’s city centre on Friday morning.
The inflatable aircraft came to a stop between Parkes Way and Lady Denman Drive just before 8:30am.
The incident created delays for commuters heading into Civic during the morning peak hour.
Thankfully, the Pilot gave a heads up to ACT Police who were able to coordinate the landing with officers on scene to manage traffic.
